I'm familiar with Rebecca Walker's new autobiography and third wave collections of essays. Melville House has released a new edition of the unflinching memoir with an introduction by Bookslut’s Jessa Crispin. Two were sacked (Gough perhaps unfairly in 1918, although there is a case that he should have gone much earlier; Allenby in 1917, sidelined to Palestine where he turned out rather well), one more at least (Plumer) came close to the same fate. The lady in Boston was delighted that someone on Prince Edward Island (PEI) was doing research on her relative.
